Everyone is unique, that's obvious. A lot of women claim they are "The Baddest" and a large number of men claim they are "The Realest" "The Hardest" and so on. Honestly, and this is blatant fact and not my opinion, no one will ever know who the "Baddest", "Realist", or "Hardest" person on this planet is.
The reason I am bringing this up is because I want to find the reason, or motivation, behind these claims. Would a person who actually calls themselves these things actually believe it was the truth? Or are they putting on a show for those around them so others can see and perhaps believe for themselves how great this guy or gal really is?
One lesson I've learned to teach myself is to define yourself for yourself and not for others. If you want others to see who you are inside and out, show them through your actions, your knowledge, your heart. This is how others can define you and get to know you better. This is how YOU can stand out from the men and women who claim and boast things about themselves that may or may not be true.
If you want to be recognized, one of the first things you need to do is be yourself instead of trying to be like everyone else.
So here are some key points:
- DEFINE YOURSELF FOR YOURSELF AND NOT OTHERS
- STAND OUT FROM BOASTERS
- BE YOURSELF
